Genie Reese's work experience begins in 2012 with DaVita Kidney Care, where they held the role of Senior Operations Analyst until 2016. In 2016, they joined Stryker as a Sales Representative and stayed until 2017. Since 2017, Genie has been working at Red Aspen as the Chief Strategy Officer and Co-founder.

Genie Reese completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Denver, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations, between 2007 and 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General, at the University of Colorado from 2011 to 2012.
