Dr. Matthias H. Lakotta serves as Co-CEO and geschäftführender Direktor at Recura since January 2016, overseeing the development of the medical service portfolio, strategic planning, and representation at both federal and state levels. Prior to this role, Dr. Lakotta was Geschäftsführer at bridgeneers GmbH from October 2017 to July 2020, facilitating collaboration between emerging companies and key players in the healthcare sector. Dr. Lakotta also held positions such as Direktor Medizin at RECURA Kliniken GmbH in 2015 and led the hospital sector at AOK Nordost from 2009 to 2014, where responsibilities included hospital planning and negotiations. Earlier experience includes a role at AOK Sachsen-Anhalt as Referent Geschäftsführer Gesundheit und Medizin. Dr. Lakotta earned a promotion in medicine from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, completing studies from 1993 to 2000, and additional education at FernUniversität in Hagen.
