Dr. Eman M Ibrahim has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical psychology. Dr.Eman started their career at Mohamed Farouk El Qersh School, where they provided counseling services to students and conducted assessments. Dr.Eman then worked at Al-hayah institute for psychiatry and addiction treatment, where they focused on psychotherapy for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Dr. Ibrahim later joined Prof Dr. Mostafa El Nahas Clinic, where they provided individual and group therapy for adults. Dr.Eman also worked at Prof. Dr. Hoda Salama clinic as a clinical psychologist, offering individual psychotherapy and delivering psychoeducational workshops. Currently, they are the Head of Clinical Psychology Department at Recovery Center, where they oversee a team of psychologists and ensures high-quality patient care. Throughout their career, Dr. Ibrahim has demonstrated expertise in designing treatment programs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to ethical guidelines and industry best practices.
Dr. Eman M Ibrahim's education history begins with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Alexandria University, which was obtained from 2007 to 2011. Dr.Eman then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in clinical psychology from the same university, completing it from 2012 to 2014. Dr. Ibrahim's academic journey continued with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Psychology at Alexandria University, which they attained between 2015 and 2021.
In addition to their formal education, Dr. Ibrahim has obtained several certifications related to various areas of psychology. Dr.Eman completed a Schema Therapy Diploma with Dr. Ahmed Hanafy at the Recovery Center For Psychiatry & Addiction in November 2021. In August 2021, they received training in Psychotherapy from Prof. Dr. Laila Kassem at the Malachite Institute. Dr.Eman also completed a cognitive behavior therapy course for schizophrenia with Prof. Sherif Darwish and Dr. Ahmed Hanafy at the Recovery Center For Psychiatry & Addiction in November 2020.
Dr. Ibrahim has taken various training courses and attended meetings related to specific psychological areas. These include a sexual therapy training course with Prof. Mona Reda at the Egyptian Society of Sexual Medicine and Surgery in November 2018. Dr.Eman also completed a cognitive behavioral therapy course for post-traumatic stress disorder with Prof. Mohamed Naguib El Sabwa at the Egyptian Psychotherapist Association (EPA) in August 2018. Dr. Ibrahim attended the 2nd scientific meeting of the Egyptian Society of Sexual Medicine and Surgery in April 2018.
Additionally, Dr. Ibrahim has acquired certifications in cognitive behavior therapy for addiction, sexual disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and depression. These certifications were obtained from various institutions such as the Egyptian Psychologist Association - RANM and the EPA.
Moreover, Dr. Ibrahim's academic journey includes trainings and presentations in other relevant areas. Dr.Eman received Profession Ethics Training from the Egyptian Psychologist Association - RANM in July 2016. Dr.Eman also participated in a training program on dealing with disabilities merged cases in education classes, facilitated by the Ministry of Education's Communication Department in October 2015. Furthermore, Dr. Ibrahim has honed their skills in psychological scales presentation and psychological cases and behavior amending dealing through trainings at the Arab Academy for Psychological Guiding and Alexandria University, respectively.
Lastly, Dr. Ibrahim underwent an IQ assessment using the Stanford Bennet IQ test conducted by Karitas Counseling in May 2012.
