WanHui Ong has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Telemarketer for the Peter Tan Organization, primarily cold-calling for a Financial Consultant. They also held a part-time holiday job in this role until 2012. In 2013, Ong joined Tiptop Consultants as an Events Management, Fieldwork, and Telemarketing Executive. After leaving this position, they began working at UWC South East Asia as an Administrative Assistant for the Student Volunteer Program in August 2013. They later became the Key Administrator, Gap Year Coordinator, and Round Square Assistant before leaving in October 2018. Since 2018, Ong has been working as a Business Development Representative at Recorded Future.

WanHui Ong received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Management (International Studies) from The University of Manchester, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, such as "Improve Cognitive Flexibility at Work" from LinkedIn in February 2022, "Presenting to Senior Executives" from LinkedIn in November 2021, and several IT security, cybersecurity, and professional development certifications from Lynda.com and EduCare Learning Ltd. in 2018.
