Joann Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Joann started their career at California State University, Long Beach, where they graduated with a degree. Joann then interned as an AO Business Manager at Veterans Health Care Long Beach before moving on to work as an AVID College Aide at Long Beach Unified District. In 2013, they joined St. Jude Medical, initially as a Product Surveillance Coordinator and later as a Clinical Study Coordinator II. Joann continued their career at Abbott as a Clinical Study Coordinator II, responsible for clinical operations. Currently, they are employed at ReCor Medical as a Clinical Research Associate.

Joann Gonzalez received their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from De Anza College. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at California State University, Long Beach, graduating in 2013.
