Ariel Kantor has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they began their career as a Research Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2014, they moved to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) as a Research Fellow. In 2015, they became the Founder and Life Sciences Head at Thessalus Capital Management and also began working at Duke University's Center for Genomic and Computational Biology. In 2016, they joined 12 West Capital Management LP as an Analyst. In 2017, they moved to Raymond James as an Equity Research, SMID Biotechnology. In 2018, they worked at Evercore as a Healthcare Investment Banking. In 2019, they founded and became President of Kantor Consulting, LLC. Finally, in 2020, they joined Oxford Science Enterprises as an Entrepreneur In Residence and in 2022, they became the Director Of Business Development at ReCode Therapeutics.
Ariel Kantor obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, Robert MacLaren group. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Biotechnology and Finance from Duke University. Before that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Chapel Hill High School.
