Fiona Stripe is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Recharge since October 2020, Fiona has successfully led the Memberships product from R&D to general availability. Previous roles at Recharge include Engineering Manager, where Fiona managed a diverse team working on merchant-facing data products, and Senior Data Scientist, where Fiona developed ML infrastructure on GCP’s AI Platform. Fiona's earlier experience includes a position at NS8 Inc as a Data Scientist, identifying fraud through advanced data analysis, and a Data Science Fellowship at Insight Data Science, where machine learning models were developed for sports predictions. Prior to this, Fiona worked at Apple, contributing as an Early Engagement Engineer and Materials Scientist with a focus on cost models and battery materials. Educationally, Fiona holds a PhD in Lithium Ion Battery Cathode Materials and an MSc in Chemistry, both from the University of Cambridge.
