Antonio Romano has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.
Antonio started their career at GeoUniq in 2014, working as a Software Engineer until 2016.
In 2017, they joined Rebrandly as the Head of Technology and held this position until 2020, demonstrating their leadership skills in the field of technology.
In 2020, Antonio co-founded Covid Community Alert and served as the Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer. Antonio was responsible for designing a Bluetooth-based privacy-preserving protocol for exposure notification during the Covid-19 emergency. Antonio successfully led a team of 35 individuals from around the world to implement the open-source reference of the protocol.
Later in 2020, they founded Human Mobility and held the position of Co-Founder and Head of Engineering until 2021.
Following this, they worked as a Data Engineer at Wiraki from 2021 to 2022, showcasing their expertise in data management and engineering.
Currently, Antonio serves as the VP Solutions Engineering at Rebrandly, starting in 2022. Their role involves providing solutions and support to clients in a leadership capacity.

Antonio Romano holds a Master of Science in Engineering of Computer Science degree from Sapienza Università di Roma, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies in Ingegneria Informatica (Computer Engineering) at Università degli studi Roma TRE from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Antonio has also acquired several certifications, including "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning" from Coursera in September 2019, "Pattern Discovery in Data Mining" from Coursera in December 2017, "Text Retrieval and Search Engines" from Coursera in October 2017, and "Data Visualization" from Coursera in September 2017.
