Keelah Barger is currently a Research and Development Intern at Rebel Medicine since March 2022 and is also a Division I Student Athlete with University of Utah Athletics since August 2021. Previously, Keelah served as a Molecular Biology Researcher in the Horvath Lab at University of Utah, focusing on non-opioid solutions to chronic pain from June 2021 to December 2022. Keelah participated as a Division I Cross Country and Track and Field athlete at the University of Arizona from August 2018 to May 2021. Additionally, experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Banner Health, where data was collected on patient-reported surgical outcomes from May 2019 to May 2020, and as a Research Assistant in the Helm Lab at the University of Arizona focused on existential isolation from September 2018 to September 2019. Keelah holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona (2018-2021) and has pursued advanced degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at the University of Utah, with expected completion in December 2023.
