Christy LaSalvia has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Rebekah Children's Services since September 2014. Previously, Christy held the position of Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at YWCA Silicon Valley from August 2012 to May 2013. Earlier, Christy gained experience as an Emergency Medical Technician while studying at Santa Clara University from 2008 to 2013, and worked as a teacher and substitute teacher at Los Banos High School from June 2007 to August 2011. Academically, Christy earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and two undergraduate degreesā€”a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literatureā€”each from Santa Clara University between 2005 and 2013.
