Leonel Gonçalves has diverse work experience in the field of engineering and consulting. Leonel started their career at Accenture as an Oracle CC&B Consultant in April 2018, and worked there until October 2018. In the same year, they also worked as an Architectural Designer and Software Engineer at Fujitsu Network Communications from November 2018 to March 2019. Leonel then joined NOS SGPS as a Software Engineer from April 2019 to August 2020. Following that, they worked as a Consultant at Aubay Portugal from April 2018 to September 2022. From September 2020 to September 2022, they also worked at SIBS as a Full Stack Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Realworks BV as a Full Stack Engineer, starting in October 2022.

Leonel Gonçalves received a Bachelor's degree in Engenharia Informática from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in 2016. Leonel then pursued a Master's degree in the same field of study at Universidade do Minho from 2016 to 2018.
