Jay Chang has over 20 years of experience in software development, currently serving as a Software Development Team Lead and Senior Software Developer at RealPage, Inc. since November 2016. In this role, Jay has implemented enterprise-class web applications and APIs with technologies such as PHP, the Laravel/Lumen framework, and PostgreSQL, while also designing and maintaining a central logging composer package. Prior to this, Jay worked at WebConcepts, Inc. for nearly a decade as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on scalable software design and development. Earlier experience includes positions as an E-commerce Software Developer at Apego, Inc. and a Web Portal Developer at China Steel Corporation. Jay holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Management from Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan.
