Mike Mu has extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as GM of Sales & BD for the Great China Region at RealNetworks since February 2015, focusing on IP licensing and web video streaming partnerships. Prior to this role, Mike worked as an independent consultant and director for various start-ups specializing in mobile video and internet technologies from 2012 to 2014, and held positions at Dolby and ST-Ericsson from 2004 to 2011 where roles included head of Asia communications and director of business development. Mike's earlier career includes significant positions at Digipro, Microsoft, IBM, and Excelpoint Systems, alongside foundational research experience at the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and academic work at Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Telecom Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
