Chris Quick has had a long and varied career in the robotics and engineering fields. Chris started their career in 2001 as a Programmer and Technical Support Specialist for Interface Systems, Inc. In 2004, they moved on to become a Microcomputer Technician for Johnson County Community College. In 2007, they became a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Precise Path Robotics, Inc. and in 2008 they were a Team Leader for the Beckman Coulter Project at Rose-Hulman Ventures. In 2009, they joined Alcoa, Alcoa Technical Center as a Senior Engineer and Automation Engineer and Project Manager. In 2015, Chris founded and became the CEO of RealBotics, Inc., where they developed real-time web-based technology for tele-operation and control of robotic equipment and devices. In 2018, they joined CCAC as an Adjunct Professor of Robotics & Mechatronics and ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) as a Technical Consultant. In 2021, Chris joined CapSen Robotics as a Technical Sales Representative.
Chris Quick obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2008. Chris then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the same institution between 2008 and 2009.
