Soumendu Chanda is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the automotive and avionics industries. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at RTI since August 2020, Soumendu specializes in safety certifiable products and leads software developers and engineers in creating connectivity software. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager at BYTON, where Soumendu spearheaded the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Autonomous Driving technologies, and Manager of Electronics & Control Systems at FEV North America, overseeing a team focused on EV/HEV hardware/software and ADAS systems. Soumendu holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Akron. Additionally, Soumendu is a co-founder of Bioly LLC.
