Rachel Haas is a seasoned technical writer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies, including RTI, IoT Flash Inc., Stanford University, Oracle, Apple, and Carnegie Mellon University. Currently serving as a Technical Writer at RTI since October 2017, Rachel has previously held positions such as Director of Operations at IoT Flash Inc. and Course Facilitator at Stanford University, where in-depth feedback was provided for innovation courses. As a Principal Technical Writer at Oracle from 1997 to 2005, Rachel managed documentation for complex software, significantly enhancing user comprehension. Rachel's earlier roles include Instructional Designer at Apple and Freelance Writer at Carnegie Mellon University, demonstrating a strong foundation in writing, information design, and usability. Rachel holds a Master’s Degree in Professional and Technical Writing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and Spanish, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
