Andrew Zavorotny, CPI, is a skilled propulsion component designer with diverse experience in aerospace and engineering. Currently employed at Reaction Dynamics since May 2020, Andrew specializes in propulsion system advancements and has contributed to the development of novel catalytic ignition systems. Previous roles include team lead for the uOttawa Rocketry Team, where Andrew enhanced structural designs and manufacturing processes for competitive rockets, and mechanical engineering co-op positions at Arkalumen Inc. and StarFish Medical focusing on thermal management solutions and prototype design, respectively. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, complemented by hands-on research and coaching experiences.
