Shaun Patel's work experience includes being a Co-founder & CEO at REACT Neuro since 2017, a Co-founder & General Partner at DRADS Capital since 2018, and a Faculty Member at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital from 2018 to January 2021.

Shaun Patel has a comprehensive education history. Shaun began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience and Biochemistry from Indiana University Bloomington in an unspecified year. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Boston University School of Medicine, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Medical Sciences from 2007 to 2009. Building on this foundation, Shaun went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Anatomy and Neurobiology from the same institution between 2009 and 2014. Finally, they attended Harvard Medical School from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Informatics.
