Fernando Casares currently serves as the Americas Regional Manager at React, a position held since April 2019. With nine years of experience in intellectual property protection, Fernando began their career at one of Brazil's traditional IP firms before joining Daniel Law in April 2015 as a lawyer in the Brand Protection department, subsequently becoming a partner in 2016. Prior to this, Fernando worked as a lawyer at Dannemann, Siemsen, Bigler & Ipanema Moreira from March 2012 to April 2015. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and has completed various postgraduate courses, including in Criminal Procedure and Fundamental Guarantees at Academia Brasileira de Direito Constitucional and a course on Compliance at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, as well as a specialized program in Anti-counterfeiting and product protection practices at Michigan State University.
