Carrie Davis is an accomplished Program Coordinator for Environmental Prevention at Reach Out, holding the position since June 2023. With extensive experience in animal training and education, Carrie has served as the Director of Education and Behavior at Reptelligence since July 2012, where responsibilities include enrichment innovation, community engagement, and curriculum development. Carrie co-launched the first positive reinforcement-based online course for training snakes. As an independent animal trainer and consultant, Carrie specializes in exotic animals, serving private clients as well as zoos and nature centers since November 2003. Additionally, Carrie has a background in English and Math tutoring, and has held various roles in teaching English as a second language. Previous positions include working with The Living Desert as a reptile keeper and animal outreach program coordinator, and experience at San Diego Zoo Global in animal care and public presentations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studies from Biola University and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from College of the Desert.
