Dr. Sandip Gite, Ph.D has a extensive and diverse work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and biologics. Dr. Sandip is currently working as a Lead Scientist at Re-Vana Therapeutics, where they lead projects focused on the development of innovative medical devices and biologics. In this role, they ensure the integration of technology and biologics, aligning projects with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.

Prior to their current position, Dr. Gite worked as a Research Scientist at Re-Vana Therapeutics, where they worked on the fabrication of biologics and sterile dosage forms for ocular application. Dr. Sandip also managed preclinical studies and was involved in quality system management and commercial-scale device manufacturing.

Before joining Re-Vana Therapeutics, Dr. Gite served as an International Expert in Formulation and Development at Sichuan Credit Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. China. In this role, they managed developmental projects in the area of injections, oral solutions, and oral solids, providing scientific advice and coordinating with contract research organizations (CROs). Dr. Sandip also worked on multiple 505(b)(2) and ANDA projects for the US and China markets.

Dr. Gite has also held positions at Cipla, where they worked as a Deputy Manager contributing to the development of injectable pharmaceuticals for the US market, and at Ferring Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Research Fellow, where they focused on oral proteins and peptide delivery.

Early in their career, Dr. Gite worked as a Research Scholar at the Institute Of Chemical Technology, where they conducted research on nano-based designs and the development of nanoparticles for BCS Class II drugs. Dr. Sandip also worked as an Officer in R&D at Concept Pharmaceuticals Ltd, overseeing regulatory requirements and documentation for marketing purposes.

Dr. Gite started their professional journey as a Junior Research Fellow at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

Dr. Sandip Gite, Ph.D has a diploma in Pharmacy from MSBTE, MRIP, Ahemednagar. Dr. Sandip then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University at MES College of Pharmacy. Dr. Sandip further pursued an M.Tech Pharma (UDCT,Aurangabad) degree from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Dr. Gite then completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Institute Of Chemical Technology. Currently, they are engaged in post-doctoral research in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design at Queen's University Belfast.
