Stacey Moana started working as a Library Assistant at the Eastern Institute of Technology in June 2020 and worked until November 2020. In November 2020, they joined Re-Leased as a Software Developer, where they currently hold the position.

Stacey Moana obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computing Systems from the Eastern Institute of Technology, which they attended from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Certificate in Audio Engineering and Music Production from the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand in 2014. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in August 2022.
