Jeffrey Slayton, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jeffrey began their career in 1988 with US Airways, where they worked as the Shift Manager for Ramp Service and Customer Service for over 12 years. In 1995, they joined the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company as a Firefighter until 1995.
In 2000, Jeffrey worked as a Business Process Consultant at Competitive Solutions, Inc. for a year before moving on to Midway Airlines as a Tower Manager. Shortly after, they worked as a Tower Manager at Comair.
In 2002, they joined Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) as the Parking Manager and later became the Telecommunicator. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Information Services - Project Manager, responsible for project management, contract management, and business process development. During their tenure, they successfully implemented a commercial business unit and led project teams to rebrand and restructure parking products.
Throughout their career, Jeffrey has demonstrated their project management skills, ability to lead teams, and their commitment to optimizing revenue and operational efficiency.
Jeffrey Slayton, PMP, has a strong educational background in the field of fire protection engineering. Jeffrey attended the University of Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute from 1984 to 1995, where they focused on fire protection engineering. During their time at the institute, they also pursued additional coursework at Catonsville Community College from 1987 to 1989, further specializing in the same field. In 1986, Jeffrey briefly studied general studies at Harford Community College.
In addition to their academic achievements, Jeffrey has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2013. This certification demonstrates their expertise and competence in project management.
