Andrew Zimmermann has a diverse work experience spanning over different roles and companies. Andrew started their career as an Apprentice at Daniel Lierbermann Architect in 2004, where they worked on drafting plans and assisted in design/build residential projects. Andrew then worked as a Designer and GIS Specialist at ROMA Design Group from 2004 to 2006. In 2007 and 2008, they gained summer internships at OKW Architects and NBBJ respectively. In 2010, they joined NBBJ as an Associate and worked until 2016. Since then, they have been associated with RCG LLC, initially as a Development Manager and later promoted to the position of Director of Design and Construction starting from January 2021.
Andrew Zimmermann has a strong educational background in the field of architecture and urban design. Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College in 2003. Following that, they pursued further education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where they completed a Career Discovery program in architecture in 2003. Later on, they attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Master of Architecture and Urban Design with Honors degree.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Andrew has obtained certifications to enhance their professional career. Andrew became a licensed Architect by the State of Massachusetts in October 2013. Furthermore, they obtained the LEED AP certification from the US Green Building Council in August 2007.
