Qi Wang is a Research Scientist at RBR since June 2018, specializing in developing and maintaining custom toolboxes in Python and MATLAB for processing and visualizing RBR data. Previous roles include Physical Scientist at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, where wave conditions were characterized for storm experiments, and Post-graduate Research Fellow at Dalhousie University, focusing on upper ocean responses to storms. Qi Wang's experience also includes evaluating computer models for oceanic circulation and coordinating project events at the Institute of Oceanology Chinese Academy of Sciences. Educational credentials comprise a Master of Science in Physical Oceanography from Dalhousie University, a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Liaoning Normal University, and a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from Ocean University of China.
