Tristan Sylvain is a seasoned professional in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Machine Learning Researcher at Borealis AI since July 2021. Tristan has held multiple significant positions, including Advisor at J2-Reliance Ltd and previous internships at Microsoft, where research focused on visual question answering. With a Ph.D. in Deep Learning from Université de Montréal, research experience spans from being a Research Scientist at Imagia, working on medical imaging, to leading data science projects at AXA and Keyrus. Tristan co-founded Echo Home SAS, creating an interactive tactile table, and also had an early career as an Automated Trading intern at In Fine Consulting. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from the University of Oxford and an Engineering degree in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique.
