Jawad Ateeq is an accomplished machine learning engineering professional with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as the Machine Learning Engineering Lead at Borealis AI since January 2017, Jawad has contributed to the organization’s growth and adaptability to evolving processes. Prior to this role, Jawad held positions at Architech as a Research Developer, focusing on sentiment and subjectivity analysis using advanced machine learning techniques. Additionally, Jawad co-founded Doppel, a company innovating smart garments for athletes, and has worked in various engineering capacities at Dejero Labs Inc., BlackBerry, and Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing. A University of Waterloo alumnus with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering, Jawad is currently enhancing skills through Seth Godin's altMBA program.
