Tim Mei has a diverse work experience in the restaurant industry. Tim is currently the VP of Operations at RB American Group since 2021. Prior to that, they served as Regional Vice President at Cracker Barrel from 2018 to 2020. Tim held several roles at Red Robin from 1999 to 2018, including Regional Vice President, Regional Operations Director, and General Manager. Tim also worked as a General Manager at Chili's Grill & Bar from 1994 to 1999. Tim started their career at Bennigan's, where they worked as a Kitchen Manager from 1992 to 1994 and as a Team Member from 1989 to 1992.

From 1989 to 1992, Tim Mei attended Illinois State University, where they earned 81 hours in the field of study of Applied Computer Science.
