Martin Ma has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Martin is currently the VP Finance at Rayner, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Group Financial Controller at Rayner from October 2019 to September 2022.

Martin implemented an electronic PO system to improve purchasing efficiency and developed a payroll forecasting model to enhance transparency. Martin also achieved breakeven for the golf division for the first time in five years.
Martin's previous experience includes roles as a Resort Controller at TUI Travel PLC from November 2011 to February 2012, and as a Financial Accountant at Langmead Farms Ltd from March 2011 to November 2011. At Langmead Farms, they implemented internal control measures and developed cashflow forecast models.
Martin began their career at Spofforths Chartered Accountants, where they worked as an Accounts and Audit Senior from December 2007 to February 2011. In this role, they conducted audits, provided clients with advice on procedures and improvements, and prepared financial statements.

Martin Ma attended The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Reed Business School from 2008 to 2011, where they pursued ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualifications with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
