Jacco Pleumeekers has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Jacco is currently the Director of Engineering at Raxium since 2018. Prior to that, they were associated with Infinera for several years, where they held multiple roles. From 2013 to 2018, Jacco was the Director of PIC Platform Integration Engineering at Infinera, overseeing various teams and focusing on scaling the manufacturing platform. From 2007 to 2013, they served as the Manager of PIC Integration Engineering, leading a team to improve manufacturing efficiency and yield. From 2001 to 2007, they worked as a Member of Technical Staff, playing a crucial role in the development of photonic integrated circuits. Jacco worked on device design and process development, achieving fully functional chips that met customer requirements.
