Tom Kuzmick is the Chair of Rawle & Henderson’s Product Liability Department. Mr. Kuzmick’s practice concentrates on product liability, catastrophic injury litigation, trucking and construction in state and federal courts, where he has extensive trial experience. He has tried in excess of 50 cases to verdict in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, most of which included damages of seven and eight figures.

In addition, Mr. Kuzmick is regularly called in to defend and try catastrophic injury matters at the last moment. Over his career, clients have transferred such files to him as a result of his trial skills, experience and reputation. Mr. Kuzmick has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for 16 consecutive years, 2004-2019, an honor reserved for just the top 5% of all lawyers in Pennsylvania. He has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell for 2020 for the 25th consecutive year. His AV Preeminent rating is the highest peer review award possible for legal ability and professional conduct and is based on the confidential evaluations of members of the Bar and the Judiciary. Mr. Kuzmick was listed in the 2015 edition of Philadelphia’s Top Rated Lawyers. He was selected as a 2013 Top Rated Lawyer in Construction by Martindale-Hubbell. Over his career he has also been designated as coordinating counsel in product liability and toxic tort litigation for several clients throughout the United States. He has been designated Liability Catastrophic Injury Counsel (LCIC) for a major international insurance carrier.

Mr. Kuzmick has lectured both locally and internationally on product liability litigation. His lectures have included presentations to lawyer organizations such as the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. He has also put on seminars for trade organizations such as the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers, the Canadian Transportation Equipment Association, the National Truck Equipment Association, the National Association of Fleet Administrators and the Trucking Industry Defense Association. Additionally, he has lectured overseas, including presentations to manufacturers in Taipei, Taiwan.
