Francesco Strino is a seasoned bioinformatics expert with extensive experience in designing and developing algorithms and pipelines for the analysis of bioinformatics data. Currently a Consultant at Raven Biosciences since October 2021, Francesco also serves as Founder and CEO of PCMGF Limited. Prior roles include Honorary Genomics Bioinformatician at Public Health England, where responsibilities included monitoring SARS-CoV-2 lineages, and a position at the Joint Biosecurity Centre. Francesco's career includes significant contributions as Lead Bioinformatics Scientist at QIAGEN, and earlier roles at CLC bio, Yale University School of Medicine, and Biognos AB. Education credentials include a PhD in Medicine from the University of Gothenburg and an MScE in Bioinformatics from Chalmers University of Technology.
