Mark Doherty has worked in the technology industry since 2011. Mark began their career as a Postgraduate Research at Queen's University Belfast in 2011. In 2015, they moved to Randox as an Application Support Specialist, where their primary duties included advising customers on features and dealing with any issues that occurred, working with sales staff to deliver a product the customer was satisfied with, working closely with Development teams to ensure requested features were considered and available, and working with Testing teams to confirm new builds were both functional and would benefit the customer in the chosen format. In 2019, they began working as a Customer Support Analyst at Totalmobile Ltd. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Ravelin Technology as a Client Support Analyst.
Mark Doherty completed a Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry at Queen's University Belfast from 2007 to 2010. Mark then went on to complete a Master of Science in Chemical Biology at Queen's University Belfast from 2010 to 2011. Mark then completed postgraduate work in Medicinal Chemistry at Queen's University Belfast from 2011 to 2015. Lastly, they completed a Master of Science in Data Science at Ulster University from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained three certifications from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018: Data8.1x: Foundations of Data Science: Computational Thinking with Python, Data8.2x: Foundations of Data Science: Inferential Thinking by Resampling, and Data8.3x: Foundations of Data Science: Prediction and Machine Learning.
