María Jimena López Morillo has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. María Jimena is currently a Co-Founder at TranscribeMe, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, María worked at Rather Labs, Inc, where they served as Chief Operating Officer from September 2022 onwards. María Jimena also held the position of Head of Operations at Rather Labs, Inc from March 2022 to September 2022, where they focused on process optimization, workflow evaluation, data analysis, and statistics. Earlier in their career, María worked as an Ingeniera Mecánica at Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica from March 2020 to May 2022. María Jimena also served as a volunteer assistant at Taller "Física al alcance de todos" from April 2012 to June 2015.

María Jimena López Morillo began their education in 2013 at the Universidad Nacional de Salta, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería Civil. María Jimena completed their studies at this institution in 2015. Afterward, they enrolled at the Instituto Balseiro in 2015 and obtained a degree in Ingeniería Mecánica in 2018. María then continued their education at the same institution, where they pursued a Magister degree in Ingeniería Mecánica from 2018 to 2021.
