Nicholas Brough has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Nicholas most recently worked as a Software Engineer at RateMyAgent starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at Ai-Media from February 2021 to February 2023. Nicholas also has experience in the technology industry, working as a Full Stack Engineer at BeFloored Pty Ltd from May 2020 to February 2021. In addition, they have a background in customer service and leadership, having served as the Vice President of Public Relations at Toastmasters International from February 2019 to February 2022. Nicholas has also worked as a teacher assistant at Code Camp in July and August 2019. Before transitioning into their career in software engineering, Nicholas gained valuable skills in organization and attention to detail while working at Latitude Australia, where they independently supervised trampoline and rock-climbing activities and hosted birthday parties and functions.

Nicholas Brough attended La Trobe University from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In 2020, they also briefly studied at the University of Calgary, still pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Nicholas obtained "Performing Complex State Management with Redux" from LinkedIn in September 2020. Nicholas also obtained a "Golden Key Membership" from the Golden Key International Honour Society in April 2019.
