Alero Awala has an extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Alero's most recent position is as a Staff Engineer - Security Operations Lead at Rasa since September 2022. Prior to that, Alero worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Rasa from January to September 2022.

Before joining Rasa, Alero held the position of Senior Security Engineer at Babylon Health from December 2020 to January 2022, and as a Security Engineer from April 2019 to December 2020.

Alero also worked as a Security Consultant at RiverSafe Limited from November 2017 to March 2019. Prior to that, Alero was a Security Analyst at RiverSafe Limited from February 2017 to August 2017.

Alero's earlier work experience includes roles such as Duty Manager at Royal Holloway Students' Union from October 2014 to July 2017, Supervisor at Holland and Barrett International from July 2015 to February 2016.

Alero's career began at THORPE PARK, where they started working part-time at the age of 16. Alero gradually progressed from a host to a senior host and eventually became a team leader before turning 18. During this time, Alero gained over 4 years of customer service experience and over 2 years of management experience.

Alero Awala completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Royal Holloway, University of London from 2013 to 2016. Alero then pursued a Master's degree in Information Security from the same university from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their university education, Alero attended St Pauls Catholic College in Sunbury-On-Thames from 2007 to 2012, where they achieved excellent academic results with 3A*'s, 6A's, and 3B's. In addition to their education, Alero has obtained multiple certifications from Splunk, including Splunk Accredited Sales Rep I in February 2019, Splunk Accredited Implementation Fundamentals in July 2018, Splunk Certified Architect in January 2018, Splunk Certified Admin in December 2017, Splunk Certified Power User in November 2017, and Splunk Certified User in August 2017.
