Evgeny Kot

VP of Engineering at Rarible

Evgeny Kot has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Evgeny started their career at INFOCOM as a Software Engineer in 2007 before joining ITR as a Lead Developer in 2010. At ITR, they introduced a new version of an internal BPM client, resulting in improved work speed and decreased bug reports.

In 2011, Evgeny moved to KORUS Consulting as a Lead Software Developer, where they improved the performance of a main security portal for a big retail chain. Evgeny then joined Quest Software as a Software Developer, where they played a role in developing backup and recovery solutions for Microsoft environments and co-piloted SCRUM activities.

In 2012, Evgeny joined Dell as a Staff Engineer, leading the development of Dell IT Search, an IT search engine for IT administrators and security teams to respond quickly to security incidents. Evgeny then moved on to Wrike in 2015 as a Frontend Team Leader, where they contributed to the development of a feature-rich web client and a sophisticated backend foundation.

At Wrike, Evgeny transitioned to the role of Engineering Manager, where they led multiple cross-functional teams, hired and fully staffed several teams, and launched various product tracks. Evgeny also implemented agile methodologies and mentored and coached team members, raising engineers to seniors and helping two individuals become senior managers. Evgeny also served as the Director of Development and Public Speaker, presenting at conferences such as WebExpo and ConfrontJS.

Currently, Evgeny is working at Rarible as the VP of Engineering.

Evgeny Kot completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" between 2004 and 2010. Evgeny then pursued Psychology at Moscow Gestalt Institute from 2018 to 2022, although the specific degree attained is not mentioned. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Google Developer Expert from Google in January 2018 and as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in April 2016.
