Scot Meiste has been in the software development industry since 2002. Scot started their career at AccuTech Systems Corp. as a Software Developer. In 2003, they joined Blackbaud as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for functional design and implementation of new features for non-profit accounting and education administration products. Scot also mentored new employees and provided business analyst with technical expertise and overall design feedback. In 2008, they moved to Passport Health Communications as a Software Developer, where they authored tools used by the File Batch customer support team and organized a focus group to study Object Oriented Design Patterns. In 2014, they joined Vaco as a Senior Technical Consultant, where they architected and authored a web application used by the marketing team to create sales presentations. In 2015, they joined Five Points ICT, Inc. as a Software Developer, where they designed and implemented a Web Api and Single Page Application. In 2017, they moved to Gene by Gene as a Senior Full Stack .Net Developer, where they accelerated Docker adoption and created scripts and Docker assets to ease the burden of running and debugging Docker Containers. Currently, they are working at Raptor Technologies, LLC as a Senior Software Developer.

Scot Meiste graduated from Anderson University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science.
