John Clyman has over 20 years of experience in executive, product, and engineering roles. Currently, they are the Executive VP of Product Engineering at Raptive. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at Magnite, where they oversaw marketplace quality efforts, built tools to automate analysis, and led a global, cross-functional team. John has also served on the board of directors at rMark Bio and advisory board at Ad Lightning. Earlier in their career, they co-founded and served as CTO and board member at SiteScout, and co-founded and led consultancy at Narrative Logic. At ZDNet, they held editorial director and executive producer roles, where they defined and oversaw product- and content-development strategy for ZDNet's Products and Commerce Business Unit, and built a team to execute the editorial and product vision for ZDNet's Reviews channel and PC Magazine Online. Additionally, they rigorously evaluated hardware, software, internet-based services, and networking equipment as a contributing editor at PC Magazine.

John Clyman attended Cornell University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a B.A. in psychology. Later, they attended Rutgers Business School to complete a Mini-MBA for Engineers and Technology Managers. The exact start and end dates for this program are not provided.
