Michael Heffernan currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Radiomer Therapeutics, focusing on the development of novel radiopharmaceuticals. In addition, Michael is the Director of Research & Technology at Fannin Innovation Studio, overseeing early-stage biomedical technology development and product activities for various medical device companies within the portfolio. Michael also holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Raptamer Discovery Group, where the emphasis is on creating synthetic affinity reagents for diverse applications. Previous roles include Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, and Product Development Engineer at Cummins Engine Company. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University.
