Phil Cotham Sr. has extensive work experience in the medical staffing industry. Phil served as the President & CEO of Rapid Temps, Inc., a professional medical staffing agency, from 1990 to present. In this role, they were responsible for running the company, overseeing all sales, managing employees, and ensuring growth and profitability. Prior to their role at Rapid Temps, Inc., Phil Cotham Sr. worked as a Sales Manager at Hudiburg Chevrolet from 1988 to 1993.

Phil Cotham Sr. attended Prince George's Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Computer Management.
