Kamyar Karimi has a diverse range of work experience in the field of CG and 3D animation. Kamyar most recently worked as a CG Artist at RapidImages starting in March 2020. Prior to that, they were a 3D Artist at Boid from March 2017 to March 2020. Kamyar also served as a Rendering Supervisor at Foresight Media from September 2014 to July 2015. Kamyar has worked as a CG Generalist at MobinaTasvir from January 2014 to June 2014 and as a CG Artist at Filmiran from June 2013 to November 2013. Kamyar also has experience as a 3D Generalist at Reyhan Film from February 2013 to June 2013, as well as at Lemon Film from January 2012 to January 2013. Kamyar has served as a CG Supervisor and Project Manager at Gilas Film from January 2010 to December 2011. Kamyar began their career with an internship at Afarinesh Animation Studios, where they worked with Renderman and modeling. Additionally, Kamyar has experience in technical support at Sony Electronics Warranty, Almas Rayan Co. from 2007 to 2008.

Kamyar Karimi's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled in Arak Islamic Azad University. Kamyar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2011. Afterward, they pursued further education and from 2015 to 2019, they attended Kristianstad University where they focused on Computer Engineering with a specialization in Embedded Systems.
