JJ Oslund has been in the tech industry since 2014. JJ began their career as a Program Manager at GAN, where they managed partnerships with corporates, built relationships with outside VCs and Angels, and launched the White House backed GAN Corporate Partner Network. In 2017, they became a Venture Investor at TechNexus Venture Collaborative, where they invested in early and growth-stage startups focused on audio, media, and the creator economy. In 2018, they joined Rapchat as the COO and an Investor/Board member. In 2019, they became a Board Observer at both InSoundz and LANDR Audio Inc.

JJ Oslund obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Wheaton College, followed by a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, in December 2017, Oslund obtained a certification in JavaScript from Fullstack Academy.
