Sam Atmore is a Head of Design, Co-founder at Range since March 2021. Prior to that, Sam was a Co-founder at Checkmate starting from February 2019. Sam also has experience as an Owner/Contractor at Sam Atmore Media since January 2011. From January 2017 to February 2021, Sam worked at LocusLabs as a Product Design Manager and Principal Product Designer. Sam was a panelist in a webinar hosted by LION Interactive in May 2020. Sam has also worked as a UI/UX Designer - Contractor at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) from November 2016 to January 2017. From December 2014 to November 2016, Sam served as a Creative Director at Area360 and as a UI/UX Designer from December 2014 to August 2015. Sam was also a Creative Director at Ticketure, a product of Area360, from August 2015 to November 2016. Prior to that, Sam worked as a NZX Agri Production Planner & Digital Designer at NZX from September 2012 to October 2013 and as a Design Assistant at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority from October 2009 to December 2010.

Sam Atmore attended Victoria University of Wellington from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they pursued two degrees: a Bachelor of Design (with Honours) in Digital Product Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Digital Media Design.
