Matt Belconis has extensive work experience in various roles related to engineering, management, and software development. Matt is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Randori, an IBM Company since 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Manager at Wayfair from 2020 to 2023, where they led teams based in Boston, MA and Poznan, Poland, and played a key role in transitioning to a microservices-based cloud architecture.
Before Wayfair, Matt worked as a Workflow Architect at Affinity Express Inc from 2015 to 2019, where they designed and built back-end automated workflows for new product launches. Matt also worked as a Director of Customer and Installation Support at Tire Profiles, Inc. in 2014, where they built the customer support infrastructure and integrated ticketing and CRM systems into the software development life cycle.
In 2013, Matt held two roles at Tire Profiles, Inc., serving as a Senior Director of Software Development and later as a Director of Operations. During this time, they oversaw the conversion of technology stacks, migration of customer appliances, and coordinated teams in Italy and India.
Prior to these roles, Matt worked at Tire Profiles as a Lead Software Engineer from 2011 to 2013, where they designed and programmed web and client-based software. Matt also founded BelWeather Design in 2008, serving as the President until 2011, where they focused on web development for non-profit and small businesses.
Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Web Developer at Channel Clarity in 2010, and as a Web Developer/Designer at the American Society of Safety Engineers from 2009 to 2010. Matt also served as a Senior Project Manager at ACTIN Services from 2005 to 2008, where they gained expertise in telecom analysis, template design, and web administration services.
Matt Belconis earned their BBA degree from the Lubar College of Business between 1994 and 1997. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1998 to 2000, obtaining an MS/MBA degree in the field of Real Estate & Urban Land Economics.
