Marcos Nuñez Cortes has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Marcos began their career in 2001 as a Software Developer for B2Agro S.A. (Grupo Financiero Galicia + ArgenSun S.A.). In 2004, they joined NEC Argentina S.A. as a Developer, and Citigroup as a Workflow & Imaging Regional IT Consultant and Workflow & Imaging Regional Software Developer. In 2007, they worked as a Software Architect for Epidata Consulting and a Bea IT Consultant for Telecom Argentina. In 2008, they co-founded MacTull SRL. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at MuleSoft as a Connectivity Engineering Manager, Anypoint MQ Sr. Software Developer, and Core Runtime Sr. Software Developer. In 2018, they joined Medallia as a Staff Engineer, and in 2019 they became an Engineering Manager & Platform Developer at Decentraland. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Chief Architect at Rand Labs.
Marcos Nuñez Cortes attended the University of Buenos Aires from 1996 to 2005. Marcos also obtained two certifications from Coursera, Principles of Reactive Programming in June 2015 and Functional Programming Principles in Scala in June 2013.
