Danielle Coats is an accomplished professional in government and public affairs, currently serving as the Director of Government and Public Affairs at Rancho Water since June 2022, following a tenure as Senior Government and Public Affairs Manager at Eastern Municipal Water District from January 2011 to May 2022. Coats has significant expertise in legislative affairs, having testified as an expert witness before the California legislature and various statewide boards and commissions. From March 2003 to January 2011, Coats held the position of Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the Western Riverside Council of Governments, where responsibilities included managing communications and policy positioning for a Joint Powers Authority. Coats holds two Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Media Studies from the University of San Diego.
