Leonid Ivanov has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Leonid started their career as a Research Assistant at the Russian Language Institute from January 1986 to October 1988. In October 1988, Leonid became the President of Klever Group, Inc., where they developed various distributed databases and internet software until July 2002. From February 2001 to the present, they worked at Grinnell College as the Online Media & Web Coordinator, where they developed a multi-interface CMS and was responsible for programming, implementation, training, and support of the system. In August 2005, Leonid joined KwaKwe as a Team Leader. Leonid then transitioned to Rancho BioSciences in January 2014 as a Bioinformatics Specialist, and later became the Manager of the Data Automation and Development Group from October 2015 to February 2021. Concurrently, in October 2016, they also worked as a Software Consultant at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa until December 2018. Finally, starting in February 2021, Leonid took on the role of Senior Software Developer at Rancho BioSciences.
Leonid Ivanov completed an Executive Seminar at the Aspen Institute in 2007. Prior to that, they attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 1980 to 1986. There, they earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Applied Linguistics.
