Anna Lobanova has a comprehensive work experience in the field of science research and data curation. Anna began their career as a Junior Science Research Analyst at Thomson Reuters in 2012 and later transitioned to the role of a Science Research Analyst in Biochemistry Information. In 2016, they joined Clarivate Analytics as a Science Research Analyst in Biochemistry Information and eventually became a Senior Science Research Analyst in Biochemistry Information until 2019. Anna then worked at Rancho BioSciences as a Data Curator from 2019 to 2022. Afterwards, they joined The EBMT as a Data Steward from September 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Scientist at Rancho BioSciences.

Anna Lobanova completed their education in the field of chemistry. Anna attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2008 to 2012, earning a Specialist degree in chemistry with a specialization in Bioorganic chemistry. Prior to that, they studied at Chelyabinsk State University from 2006 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. In terms of additional certifications, Anna obtained a certification in "Introduction to Programming Using Python" from Coursera in May 2019, and a certification in "Introduction to Pharmacy" from Coursera in February 2015.
