Jacob Chappell is a Senior Software Engineer at Ramsey Solutions since September 2021, specializing in enterprise applications using Ruby on Rails, Kotlin with Spring Boot, TypeScript, and React. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Cyberinfrastructure Architect at the University of Kentucky, leading the design of an Ansible framework for HPC compute clusters. Jacob has also developed a 400-node HPC compute cluster as a Research Computing Associate and designed networking software for GNU/Linux systems as a Programmer Systems Analyst. Additional roles include Network Engineer, Teaching Assistant in a Cybersecurity Bootcamp at Vanderbilt University, and WordPress Developer at both the University of Kentucky and Red Pixel Studios. Jacob holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
